Hannah Swarbrick-Done

Hannah is the founder of Yellow, a consultancy that works with organisations to strengthen leadership, structure and the systems that support their people.

CIPD-qualified and commercially trained, Hannah brings over 20 years of experience working with founder-led and growing businesses. Her early career in business development across marketing, tourism and hospitality operations gives her a practical understanding of how organisations actually run, not just how they look on paper.

Hannah is known for her clear thinking, direct communication and ability to bring structure to complex organisational challenges. She works closely with leadership teams to align roles, accountability and ways of working so that businesses can move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

Based in the North West of England, Hannah is building Yellow into a UK-wide collective of specialists working across workforce design, leadership capability, operational efficiency and people systems.

Ian McIlroy

Ian leads Talent & Recruitment at Yellow, supporting organisations to identify and secure the leadership and operational talent they need to perform and grow.

His career spans business development, operational leadership and recruitment, including senior roles within the Xander Group. This gives him an in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry and a clear view of what businesses need from the people they hire in practice.

Ian is known for his considered, hands-on approach and the way he works in close partnership with clients. He takes the time to understand how organisations operate, the standards expected in role and the capability required to deliver, ensuring hiring decisions are aligned to both performance and long-term success.

Working as part of Yellow, Ian delivers a focused and commercially grounded approach to hiring, ensuring recruitment is carried out with clarity, context and a strong understanding of the environment new hires are stepping into.
